Darkwebathon: Rally For Actionable Intelligence

On May 21^st 2022, ATII hosted a 6-hour open-source-based challenge inviting highly motivated personnel to work towards a common goal of following the money to fight slavery. The Darkwebathon brought together talented professionals able to create actionable intelligence with innovative technology. ATII lent their unique darkweb platform, Hades, to aid Darkwebathon participants with the goal of identifying and profiling potential traffickers. Thousands of email, hash and crypto leads were generated by a variety of automated methods to enable participants to further collect actionable intelligence.

Prizes valued at over USD100,000 combined were donated by event sponsors OSINT Combine, ADF Solutions, Maltego, TCAE, Hunchly, TWELVE Program and ManchesterCF. Two Darkwebathon winners each received a licence for the Financial Intelligence Specialist designation program donated by ManchesterCF.
